The accredited program of the Labor Safety Specialist is developed in accordance with the requirements of the law on Labor Safety and is accredited by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

 

Upon completion of the program, graduates will receive the relevant certificates and obtain the degree of a state-accredited specialist.

 

The aim of the program is to train a labor safety specialist in accordance with the requirements of the law of Georgia on Labor Safety; Develop the necessary competencies for effective management of occupational safety and health in the organization.

 

Prerequisite for admission to the program - the listener of the program can be a person with at least secondary education above the age of 18.

 

Learning Outcomes - Listeners at the end of the program:

 

  • Have special knowledge in the field of labor safety;
  • are familiar with national and international labor safety legislation;
  • May assess the safety and health risks associated with the employees and the other persons in the workplace;
  • Can ensure registration, investigation and reporting of accidents and occupational diseases in the workplace in accordance with the legislation of Georgia.
