ERASMUS + Exchange Programs for the Fall Semester of 2019

The Erasmus + exchange program for international student mobility covers travel expenses and grants scholarships. The amount of scholarships for students is determined by the recipient country and the university.

Active students of Caucasus University must submit the following documents in English: 

 

  • Copy of ID card/passport
  • Filled in application form
  • EUROPASS CV (See Appendix #2) (See Appendix # 3)
  • International Certificate of Foreign Language Proficiency (IELTS - 6.0; TOEFL-78)
  • Mark sheet;
  • 1 motivation letter;
  • 1 letter of recommendation from the faculty;

 

The following cannot participate:

 

  • First and final year students of Bachelor’s degree programs
  • Last year students of a master’s program;
  • Those who have already received an Erasmus Mundus grant at a similar level

 

The following applications will not be considered:

 

  • Those who do not meet the requirements set out in the framework agreement for participation in the exchange program and the regulations of the Caucasus University Department of International Relations;
  • Submitted applications that will be incomplete or inconsistent with established requirements;
  • Applications submitted late or in stages.

 

Candidates should submit their applications electronically by April 6, 2019 to the following email address: ir@cu.edu.ge.

Please note that a certificate is required prior to April 6. Applications submitted without a certificate will not be considered.

The candidate should indicate in the email subject line the name of the first selected university they’re applying to. Each document should be labeled accordingly. One student can apply for up to three universities.

 

Selection procedure:

 

  • The application documents are reviewed by the Caucasus University Competition Commission.
  • The commission will nominate the selected candidates;
  • Provide information/documents on selected candidates to the receiving university;
  • Final selection of students by the receiving university;
  • The receiving university has the right to require the nominated student to participate in an additional internal competition.
