We would like to inform you that the Government of the Slovak Republic announces the call for applications for the National Scholarship Program 2022-2023.
Eligible applicants are 1st and 2nd-year Ph.D. students.
Duration of a scholarship stay is 1 – 10 months, and the amount of the monthly scholarship is - 734 €.
In addition, Ph.D. students can be awarded a travel allowance. The travel allowance amount depends on the distance (in a direct line) between Tbilisi and the place of his/her stay in Slovakia:
- distance up to 350 km – 0 €,
- distance more than 350 km, max. 2,000 km – 250 €,
- distance more than 2,000 km, max. 7,000 km – 500 €,
- distance more than 7,000 km – 1 000 €.

Interested candidates must submit the following documents via the online application system:
- CV;
- Motivation letter;
- Detailed study program;
- Recommendation letter issued by applicant’s dissertation supervisor;
- Confirmation issued by the applicant’s home university confirming that the applicant is a regular student of the respective university at the time of applying;
- Scan of applicant’s master’s diploma, diploma supplement and state examination certificate;
- Admission letter issued by the applicant’s host university in Slovakia indicating the period of stay.
- List of publications in the required form (please find the attached file).
The online application system is opened at least 6 weeks prior to the application deadline.
If you get the scholarship, please let us know so that we will be able to prepare program compatibility forms with the involvement of the relevant school.
