Klaipėda University, Lithuania, invites students and academic staff to apply for the Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Programme. The programme will take place from 4 January to 2 February 2027 in Klaipėda. Participants will study the Lithuanian language, learn about Lithuanian culture, and meet people from around the world.

Participants may receive a scholarship of EUR 962, which fully covers the programme fee. The funding is available only for physical mobility. Please note that participants are responsible for covering all other related expenses.

To be eligible for the programme, candidates must be students, lecturers, or researchers at a higher education and research institution in a foreign country and must submit the following documents in English or Lithuanian:

• Copy of passport;
• Letter of reference;
• An official letter issued by the candidate’s higher education and research institution confirming their status as a student, lecturer, or researcher. The letter must have been issued no more than six months before the application submission date;
• Motivation letter;
• A relevant document, if the candidate is formally or informally studying the Lithuanian language, history, or culture at their home institution.
