On February 19, the Academic Writing Center of Caucasus University traditionally held a webinar for students to mark the International Day of Plagiarism Prevention. The main goal of the event was to discuss issues of academic integrity within the context of research ethics and to raise students’ awareness of adhering to ethical standards.

The webinar was led by Tamar Chokoraia, Head of the Academic Writing Center, who provided participants with a detailed overview of the essence of academic integrity, its role in research, and concrete examples of how to apply ethical principles in practice. Special attention was given to the development and use of artificial intelligence, including its opportunities, challenges, and ethical considerations, which are of critical importance in modern research and academic writing.

The meeting was conducted based on materials prepared within the framework of the ongoing international “Research Ethics” project.
