On May 5, Caucasus University hosted Professor Mohammad Gharipour, Director of the Architecture Program at the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, University of Maryland, USA.

As part of the visit, an introductory meeting was held with representatives of the International Relations Department of Caucasus University. During the meeting, the professor was introduced in detail to the internationalization processes of the university, its existing collaborations with leading universities in the United States, and its planned future projects. The parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation between the universities in the areas of exchange programs, short-term programs, and double degree programs.

In addition, a job-shadowing meeting was held with Mariam Menabde, Dean of the School of Architecture and Design at Caucasus University, and Gvantsa Kheladze, Head of the English-language Architecture Program. During the meeting, the parties shared information about the structure of the architectural educational program, the school’s experience, teaching methods, and program objectives.
