On March 25, Caucasus University hosted the “5G and Next-Generation Networks Cybersecurity Hackathon 2026” within the framework of the European Union-funded SECURE project. The event brought together nearly 60 participants from a wide range of private and public institutions, as well as the education sector.
During the hackathon, participants worked on specially designed CTF challenges created exclusively for the competition. At the end of the event, Giorgi Gelashvili was announced as the winner and earned the title of “Best Hacker of Georgia 2026.” He was awarded a gaming laptop by the event sponsor, MSI. MSI also presented symbolic prizes to other participants.
All participants received certificates of participation.
The hackathon was held with the support and organization of the Scientific Cyber Security Association, in partnership with Fortinet and Integra.
