Giorgi Iashvili is an Associate Professor at Caucasus University and SOC Team Leader at eToro - Webiz, based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is also deputy director at Caucasus Cyber Security Center, CST.

He has over 10 years of experience in penetration testing, cybersecurity auditing, and integrating cybersecurity protocols into critical infrastructure organizations. Giorgi specializes in implementing GDPR-compliant security controls at scale and combines practical industry leadership with academic teaching and research in cyber security.

His current research interests include cybersecurity in AI systems, agentic AI workflows, AI-powered attacks and attacks targeting AI models, as well as defensive mechanisms and hardening strategies for AI. He has held leadership roles at the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA), and has taught cyber security at Ilia State University as well as in leading schools in Georgia. Giorgi holds a PhD in Cyber Security.
