A final training session was held as part of the "Gastronomical Bootcamp” project

4 November 2022

The final training sessions for the attendees of the second reception were held on November 3 and 4, as part of the "Gastronomical Bootcamp" project, and were conducted by the top chefs chosen in the first stream of the project.

Caucasus University organizes the aforementioned trainings in collaboration with the USAID Industry-led Skills Development Program. It is carried out in collaboration with the Basque Culinary Center and the Gastronomic Tourism Business Association. The trainings are hosted by the Pastry School "Tamtini".

Training was divided into two categories: gastronomic trends and avant-garde techniques; creativity and plating. The second training focused on creativity and plating, and participants learned about the main creativity tools used in restaurants and the food business in general to improve the visual side of food.

Chefs Ana Ishkhanova and Aleksandre Baindurashvili lead the trainings.

It should be noted that the Caucasus University has a strategic mutual cooperation with the Basque Culinary Center, under which the Caucasus Academy of Gastronomy will be established in Kakheti, specifically in Gurjaani, in 2024.
