On October 16, Caucasus University hosted a delegation from Bilimkana International School. Prior to the visit, several consultative meetings were held between the University and the School administration, during which a customized educational and cognitive program was developed tailored to the group’s needs and interests.
As part of the visit, students participated in educational activities organized by the School of Tourism. The workshop, which focused on the components of planning an international tour and included practical exercises, was led by Diko Kopaleishvili, Dean of the School of Tourism, and Tornike Phurtseladze, Administrative Director of Programs and invited lecturer. The session was conducted in an interactive format and featured group work and simulation activities.
A meeting organized by the Student and Organizational Department introduced participants to the various student clubs operating at the University. During the session, the head of the department, Meri Khvicha, presented an overview of the student life at Caucasus University, while Givi Machavariani, representative of the Intellectual Board Games Club, introduced the club’s activities and organized a mini-competition for the guests.
Members of the delegation also received detailed information about Caucasus University’s operations and international initiatives from Lana Kevkhishvili, Head of the President’s Administration, and Ketevan Karbaia, Director of the International Relations Department. Guests had the opportunity to explore the University’s historical campus and modern learning infrastructure. It is noteworthy that among the visitors were prospective students who received comprehensive information about the University’s academic programs and student opportunities.
As part of the cognitive segment of the visit, representatives of the Ambassadors Program—aimed at promoting the integration of international students—Anastasia Gudadze and Tato Gonashvili, organized a walking tour of Tbilisi for Bilimkana students.
It is worth mentioning that Caucasus University maintains a long-standing partnership with Bilimkana International School. During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to further expand cooperation and implement joint projects in the future.
