During the official visit to Lithuania, the President of Caucasus University, Dr. Kakha Shengelia, and Vice-President Ms. Irena Melua were hosted at Kazimieras Simonavičius University. The meeting took place with the university administration, including Vice-Rector for Research, Associate Professor Dr. Helga Marija Kauzonė, and Professor Jolanta Zabarskaitė.

Within the framework of the visit, the parties discussed opportunities for further strengthening cooperation between Caucasus University and Kazimieras Simonavičius University, including the development of joint academic initiatives and research projects.

It is noteworthy that the two universities have been cooperating since 2019. During the visit, the existing cooperation agreement between the institutions was also renewed, further strengthening the partnership and paving the way for new joint initiatives.
