On June 8, Caucasus University hosted a jubilee evening in its conference hall to mark the 70th anniversary of Mr. Temur Khutsishvili, Professor at the School of Tourism and Head of the Department of Mathematics. The event also included the presentation of his collection of plays, Eternal Fleeting Life, (Transience??), published by Intelekti Publishing.

On June 4–6, Levan Darbaidze, Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University, Founder of the Child Rights Center and Judge, participated in the international conference “The Role of Academia in Promoting Child Rights,” hosted by the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

A scientific paper by Professor Tengiz Verulava of Caucasus University, titled “Integrating Mental Health into Primary Care: Policy and Practice Challenges,” has been published in the Bulgarian Journal of Psychiatry.

Zurab Ghambashidze, a student of Caucasus School of Economics successfully participated in the 11th International Conference on Applied Research in Management, Economics, and Accounting, which was held online in Cambridge, United Kingdom, from June 5–7, 2026.

From June 1 to June 5, Caucasus University hosted its 5th International Staff Week Program. More than 40 academic and administrative staff members from 24 partner universities across 15 countries of Europe and Asia participated in the program. It has to be highlighted that during the current academic year, Caucasus University hosted the International Staff Week for the second time. 

On June 4–5, the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, in collaboration with the School of Tourism, hosted the Digital Tourism Ideathon 2026, bringing together students, industry professionals, and mentors to explore innovative solutions for the future of tourism and hospitality.

On June 5, students of Marneuli Public School N2, a partner school of Caucasus University, staged the performance “Always and Everywhere, Georgia, I Am of You.”

An article by Konstantine Chakhunashvili, Associate Professor at the School of Medicine of Caucasus University, - “Screen Time and Autism-Like Behavior: Cross-Sectional Study from Georgia,” has been published in the international peer-reviewed journal Preventive Medicine Reports, published by Elsevier.

Georgian-German diplomas were officially signed for the graduates of the second cohort of the joint graduate program in Digital Logistics Management.

A new article by Nika Chitishvili, Affiliated Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Caucasus University, has been published in Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy - a Springer Nature scientific journal indexed in Scimago Q1, with an Impact Factor of 3.9 and CiteScore of 8.0.

Anna Kintsurashvili, a guest lecturer at the Caucasus Education School, has won the prestigious New Learning Award 2026, organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF). She excelled in the category of ‘’Strengthening Civic Engagement Through the Arts.’’

On May 29–30, 2026, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the international academic conference “EU Integration Perspectives of the Candidate Countries,” organized as part of the Jean Monnet Chair “Closer to the EU.

On May 29, 2026, the Caucasus Medicine School (CMS) Student Scientific Conference was held in the conference hall of Caucasus University.

The Vice President for Internationalization at Caucasus University, Irena Melua, participated in the annual conference and exhibition of the NAFSA: Association of International Educators, held in Orlando, United States.
