Within the framework of the hackathon, Axel's favorite team was #Shentsgekheba, comprised of students from the Caucasus School of Business: Nini Aptsiauri, Mariam Magradze, Nini Natsvlishvili and Lasha Tsukhishvili.

On January 17-18, Caucasus University hosted the Democratic Technology Hackathon, organized by Startup Büro, UNDER 30 • Forbes Georgia, Axel, and Impact Hub Tbilisi. The DemTech Hackathon aimed to stimulate the use of technology in supporting democratic movements.

On January 16, 2025, Caucasus University held a public defense of the dissertation by Miranda Tsintskiladze, a doctoral student in the English-language doctoral program in Management at the School of Business.

A study conducted at Caucasus University was published in an influential international refereed journal „Asia Pacific Journal of Health Management“.

An agreement of cooperation was signed between Caucasus University and Toulouse Business School, France.

Caucasus University Professor Maksim Iavich won the University of Michigan (USA) Weiser Scholars Program.

The internationally refereed journal The Catholic Historical Review (Vol. 110, Issue 4, 2024), published by the Catholic University of America (Washington), has featured a scientific article by Caucasus University Professor David Tinikashvili. The article is titled “Georgia and the Crusaders: Political and Military Alliance.”

CSB Research Center has summarized the 2024 calendar year. The meeting was attended by eight academic staff members holding doctoral degrees.

On December 23, 24 and 25, the master's theses defense of the Caucasus School of Business Master's Program students was held at Caucasus University.

On December 26, Caucasus University hosted the region's largest hackathon competition, bringing together over 70 students who demonstrated their hacking skills.

Caucasus University Jean Monnet Center of Excellence for EU Policy Transposition (EUPOLTRANS) published a collection of research articles about EU-Georgia policies. These policies are covered by the Association Agreement and represent important EU acquis for the accession process as well.

On December 25, the International Relations Department held an orientation meeting for students participating in the university exchange programs.

Dr. Khatuna Burkadze, a Professor at Caucasus University and Director of Foreign Policy Studies at the Georgian think tank Geocase, delivered a speech on the role of AI in higher education at the international conference “Education, Technology and Innovation.”

NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy (Scopus Q3) has published an article titled “Western Sanctions Evasion through Third Countries: The Case of Sanctioned Cars Re-export to Russia” co-authored by Vakhtang Partsvaniya, Professor of Management, and Erekle Pirveli, Professor of Accounting and Finance.

The results of a study conducted at Caucasus University titled “Pregnant Mothers’ Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice Towards Prevention of Iron Deficiency Anemia in Georgia” were published in the influential international refereed journal “Al-Kindy College Medical Journal”.

Students from grades 11 and 12 of Kutaisi Public School N24, along with the school principal, Rusudan Karkadze, visited Caucasus University.

On December 23, 2024, Akaki Mosakhlishvili, a student in the English-language doctoral program in Economics at the School of Economics, successfully presented his dissertation in a public defense at Caucasus University.
