With the support of Caucasus University, Professor Elisabed Machitidze, Doctor of History and faculty member at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, participated in the 5th International Conference on Social and Educational Sciences held on October 17–18 at Istanbul Gelisim University.
On October 17–18, Istanbul Gelisim University hosted the 5th International Conference on Social and Educational Sciences, which brought together 130 researchers from over 20 countries.
Dr. Nana Sharikad, together with Peter J. Schmelz, and Maia Sigua has been nominated for a prestigious H. Colin Slim Award by the American Musicological Society (AMS) for their jointly authored article, Throwing Off the Russian Lenses from Soviet Music: The Colonization and Decolonization of Georgian and Ukrainian Music. The article was published in 2024, in Journal of the American Musicological Society 77/2.
On October 16, Caucasus University hosted a delegation from Bilimkana International School. Prior to the visit, several consultative meetings were held between the University and the School administration, during which a customized educational and cognitive program was developed tailored to the group’s needs and interests.

From October 13 to 15, Caucasus University President Dr. Kakha Shengelia and Vice President for Internationalization Ms. Irena Melua participated in the 60th Anniversary and Semi-Annual Meeting of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), held in Seoul, South Korea.
On September 1, within the framework of the Startup Incubator Program, the second online lecture was held on the topic “Value Proposition and Key Metrics,” led by trainer Shalva Othanadze.
