Future Professions in the AI Era: How Roles Are Changing and Which Skills Are Decisive?

Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center hosted a meeting with Maka Makhatadze - Founder and Executive Director of IT Academy STEP Georgia - focused on the transformation of professional roles and education in the era of artificial intelligence.

 

Maka Makhatadze’s professional experience combines engagement in the international technology industry with active involvement in advancing technological education in Georgia. Her work includes the development of a continuous technology education model - from Junior Academy programs to professional-level courses - based on STEAM principles.

 

During the meeting, the following topics were addressed:

 

  • The transformation of professional roles in the context of AI development;
  • Critical skills required in today’s labor market;
  • The need for education systems to adapt to a rapidly evolving technological environment. 

 

During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions  and receive comprehensive answers.
