On June 13–15, 2026, the program “Impactful Leadership for Rectors & University Executives” was held at Almaty Management University in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Caucasus University hosted the presentation of a new book - Making Higher Education Count: Embracing the Supermarket Model - by Dr. Kakha Shengelia, President of Caucasus University, and Dr. Fred Kasirye, management researcher and Assistant Project Director.

Levan Darbaidze, Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University School of Law, founder of the Child Rights Center, Doctor of Law, and judge, has been elected as a full member of the Council of the International Association of Youth and Family Judges and Magistrates (AIMJF).

On June 11, Caucasus University hosted a hands-on article writing workshop organised by the Merani blog and Georgian Students for Liberty.

The program aims to enhance participants' entrepreneurial skills and innovative thinking, helping them develop their startup ideas and transform them into real businesses.

As part of NATO Days, the Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Alexander Vinnikov, visited Caucasus University. The visit was hosted by the Department of International Relations and the Irakli Tsereteli NATO Research Center.

On 8-9 June 2026, the Working Group 4 meeting of COST Action CA22124 - ECO4ALL was held at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.

On 11 June 2026, within the framework of “Ilia Thursdays,” a public lecture by Giga Maminashvili was held, organized by the International Research Center for Georgian Studies at Caucasus University, on the topic “The Castrating Father – A Metapsychological Portrait of the Post-Soviet Father.”

On June 10, a presentation of the book The European Union as a Global Actor: Institutions, Values and Interests by Ilia State University Professor Giorgi Gvalia was held at Librarea, the bookstore of Caucasus University.

On June 6, 2026, Caucasus University hosted a large-scale conference - Technology Is Transforming the Learning Process.

On March 10, Caucasus University hosted an arm-wrestling championship for Georgian and international students.

As part of the public lecture series of the Caucasus School of Economics, a meeting was held on the topic: “Taxes in Georgia: System and Practice.”

On June 6, the first international conference, “Teachers of the Penmanship,” was held jointly by the Georgian Calligraphers Association and Caucasus University.

On June 8, Caucasus University hosted a jubilee evening in its conference hall to mark the 70th anniversary of Mr. Temur Khutsishvili, Professor at the School of Tourism and Head of the Department of Mathematics. The event also included the presentation of his collection of plays, Eternal Fleeting Life, (Transience??), published by Intelekti Publishing.

On June 4–6, Levan Darbaidze, Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University, Founder of the Child Rights Center and Judge, participated in the international conference “The Role of Academia in Promoting Child Rights,” hosted by the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

A scientific paper by Professor Tengiz Verulava of Caucasus University, titled “Integrating Mental Health into Primary Care: Policy and Practice Challenges,” has been published in the Bulgarian Journal of Psychiatry.
