Meetings at the National Bureau of Enforcement with representatives of various higher education institutions are ongoing. On this occasion, students of Caucasus University were provided with information about the enforcement system and its operational framework.

Caucasus University is pleased to announce that Professor Maksim Iavich, Director of the Cybersecurity Center and Head of the Cybersecurity Program, together with Professor Vladimir Svanadze, participated in and delivered presentations at DeepSec, one of the most distinguished global conferences in the field of cybersecurity, held in Vienna.

The cybersecurity forum Tech-Trek, organized by the Communications Commission MediaLab in partnership with the Scientific Cyber Security Association, welcomed technology-interested audiences for the second year in a row.

On December 5, Caucasus University (CU) hosted an information session for prospective students, offering an overview of the university’s academic environment and opportunities.

On December 4, within the framework of the cooperation between Caucasus University and the French Institute of Georgia, the representative of the institute, Natia Mskhaladze, held an informational meeting for interested students and staff of the university. During the meeting, study and funding programs in France were discussed.

On December 4, Caucasus University had the honor of hosting the British Ambassador to Georgia, Mr. Gareth Ward.

On December 4, President Kakha Shengelia and a university delegation welcomed Ambassador Gareth Ward at Caucasus University.

On December 1–3, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Institutional Development Program and the funded project Promoting Quality Digital Education in Georgia (PRODIGE), a series of intensive trainings was held at Tbilisi State University. Caucasus University was represented by Tiniko Gioshvili, Tamar Telia, and Keti Shengelia – managers from the Career Development and Employment Promotion Office and the Human Resources Department.

On December 4, the Department of International Relations of Caucasus University hosted representatives of the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Angers, France, Professor Denali Boutain and Camille Poussier Viel, Assistant Professor for International Cooperation.

On December 3, Caucasus University hosted a public lecture by Dutch psychologist Jan Taal, titled “The Art of Living and Imagining.” The event was held through the joint initiative of Caucasus School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Institute of Psychosynthesis of Georgia.

Caucasus University and Caucasus School of Tourism have once again demonstrated their commitment to the highest international quality standards. The UN Tourism TedQual recertification process concluded with an outstanding result of 94%.

On November 29-30, a successful 2-day Ideathon - Smart City Solutions for a Better Tomorrow - was held at Rustavi Digital Development Space, organized by Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in collaboration with  Rustavi Digital Development Space.

Caucasus University successfully hosted the four-day Green Tourism Business Challenge, developed and implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE ENRICHER-hubs project. The event brought together more than twenty students from various CU schools, who worked on a real industry case using the internationally recognized Design Sprint methodology.

On 2 December, Dean of the Caucasus School of Governance, Professor Eka Akobia, hosted the Associate Professor Olga Oleinikova from the School of Communication (Department of Social and Political Sciences) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), who will spend a period of time as a visiting research fellow at the Caucasus School of Governance.

Caucasus University continues to host orientation sessions for international students enrolled in the Medicine program, organized by the International Relations Department.

Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center’s Startup Pre-Acceleration Program CUnicorn+ is nearing its completion!

Caucasus University and the international accelerator Rainmaking Innovation Europe have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed by Irena Melua, Vice President for Internationalization at Caucasus University, and Sarah Grippay, Program Manager at Rainmaking Innovation Europe.

On November 27, Caucasus University hosted a meeting for students of Caucasus School of Law as part of the 16-day global campaign against violence against women and domestic violence. The campaign aims to combat violence, raise public awareness, promote prevention, and highlight the state services available to victims of violence.

Professor Giorgi Bregadze and Assistant Professors Nata Robitashvili and Nino Tigishvili of the Caucasus University School of Tourism took part in Georgia’s most significant tourism event of the year - the national tourism summit “Turisteri,” held in the city of Batumi.

An information session for international students was held at  Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of Caucasus University. The aim of the meeting was to introduce students to the Center’s activities, ongoing projects, and upcoming initiatives.
