In Akhaltsikhe, the final event of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) Samtskhe-Javakheti Pre-Acceleration Program–Demo Day–was held.
During the Demo Day, 12 participating startup teams presented their ideas. Over the course of four weeks, the teams worked with the support of mentors to refine their ideas, develop their business models, and establish market entry strategies.
As part of the Demo Day, the participants were evaluated by a jury consisting of:
- Teo Chukhruidze – Program Manager at the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency;
- Nini Mosiashvili – Co-Founder and COO of Helio AI;
- Giorgi Sukhiashvili – Founder of FlavAR.
At the end of the Demo Day, two winning teams were selected:
- Jury’s Choice – Toritrips
- College “Opizari” Choice – Keeneye
The winning teams became beneficiaries of the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. This status will provide the teams with the opportunity to benefit from the Center’s support at the next stages of their startup development, including mentorship, individual consultations, and access to various resources.
In addition, College “Opizari” granted the Keeneye team access to its FabLab space, providing them with an opportunity to utilize the space’s relevant resources and infrastructure for the further development of their idea.
The program was implemented by the Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
