COST ECO4ALL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AT UNUVERSITA OF MERCATORUM OF ROMA

On March 26-27, Professor Guranda Tchelidze from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Caucasus University participated in the COST ECO4ALL international conference "Consumer Rights in the Age of the Circular Economy: Towards Sustainable and Fair Production and Consumption Practices". The event was hosted by Universita Mercatorum of Roma (Italy).

 

Prof. Guranda Tchelidze together with researcher of legal Academy of Moldova Iurie Lisnic, presented a report titled “Transposition of European Approaches in Georgia: The Waste Management Code, Extended Produces Responsibility (EPR) and The Circular Economy”, addressing the steps taken in this direction, specific outcomes, and future perspectives. The presented research is the second joint study with Moldovan colleagues in the COST ECO4ALL framework.

 

As part of the conference, a regular meeting of the COST ECO4ALL Management Committee was held, where participants reviewed the work carried out, discussed the project's progress, and deliberated on future plans.
