Hospitality Management Students Visit Afisha Hotel

9 January 2026

As part of the Sustainable Tourism Development course, students of the Hospitality Management Program at Caucasus University paid a study visit to Afisha Hotel.

The visit aimed to bridge theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom with real-world hospitality practices, enabling students to gain valuable practical insight into hotel operations.

The Afisha Hotel team - led by General Director Ketevan Nadareishvili, together with the heads of the Marketing, Human Resources, and Front Office departments - presented the hotel’s concept, organizational structure, and range of services. Particular attention was given to effective departmental management, service standards, and cost-efficiency mechanisms.

During the visit, students toured all major hotel facilities and familiarized themselves with professional service procedures and operational standards.

The meeting also highlighted the mutual interest of both parties in establishing long-term cooperation, marking an important step toward strengthening collaboration between academic education and the professional hospitality sector.

The study visit was coordinated by Nato Robitashvili, Assistant Professor at the School of Tourism.
