On May 29, 2026, the Caucasus Medicine School (CMS) Student Scientific Conference was held in the conference hall of Caucasus University.
The primary objective of this event was to promote scientific-research activities, develop academic potential among students, and showcase independent research skills. The conference brought together students from both the Georgian and English-taught Medical Doctor programs of the medicine school, who were given the opportunity to present their papers before a wide audience.

A specially selected commission revealed the following papers as the winners of the conference:
- I Place - Bokhua Lizi – Huntington's Disease (HD): Molecular Pathogenesis and Perspectives of Gene Therapy; Verulava Dachi - Epidemiological study of injuries in hospital emergency departments;
- II Place - Benturqui Myriam & Fassi Sarah, Michele, Malika Presented a report on the topic: Impact of Childhood Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Sleep on Adult Chronic Disease Risk: A Narrative Review
- III Place - Harikumar Vivek Nair & Chowdhury Jamil Hasan Presented a report on the topic: Understanding Sudden Onset of Diabetes in Post-Surgical Patients
Students were awarded certificates and symbolic gifts. Caucasus University thanks each participant for their hard work and high academic responsibility.
