It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jason A. Scorza, honorary doctor of CU, an outstanding public and educational figure, a doctor of great merit. 

We would like to express our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Dr. Scorza was not only an amazing professional, but also a remarkable individual. He will be deeply missed by all of us, especially within the educational community.

Jason Scorza was Vice Provost for Academic and International Affairs and Professor of Political Science and Philosophy at Fairleigh Dickinson University. 

Dr. Scorza served as Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), a member of the United Nations/IAUP Commission on Disarmament Education, Conflict Resolution and Peace.
