The public lecture "Language, Culture, Writing, and Society," held on April 10 at Caucasus University's library, consisted of two parts: Professor Mariam Manjgaladze spoke about language as a phenomenon expressing social and national identity; the history of a nation in its language; the interrelationship between the world known by words and language and culture.

Calligrapher Davit Maisuradze (Georgian Calligraphers Association) spoke about the role of writing in shaping society and defining its culture; the relationship between spoken and written language, their formal expressions and calligraphy.

The lecture also delved into various myths surrounding the creation of scripts. The session concluded with an interesting discussion, where audience members posed questions and received responses from the specialists.

The event was held within the project "I Love Georgian - My State Language" (author - Prof. Mariam Manjgaladze).
