Affiliated Professor at Caucasus University, Dr. Khatuna Burkadze delivered a public lecture on the topic: “Artificial Intelligence as a Subject of Law: Opportunities and Challenges.”
During the public lecture, Professor Khatuna Burkadze discussed the strategic, ethical, and legal frameworks of artificial intelligence. She analysed the key aspects of the Artificial Intelligence Act adopted by the European Union. Dr. Khatuna Burkadze also focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with implementing AI in the field of justice.
Khatuna Burkadze stated, “Artificial intelligence will change traditional approaches in all key areas, including jurisprudence. The expansion of AI's scale, capabilities, and associated risks necessitates a re-evaluation of existing legal norms and the development of new legal approaches. In addition, this modern technology enables the remote management of public and private legal relations, thereby transforming established methods in jurisprudence.”
