Caucasus University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center hosted a session with Irakli Pkhovelishvili as part of the “Meet the Startuper” series. Irakli, a Caucasus University graduate, is an entrepreneur and product & tech professional with international experience at Riot Games.
During the session, he shared his career journey, including working across global tech hubs like Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He also talked about the hands-on experience he’s gained both in corporate environments and while building his own startups.
A big part of the discussion focused on the early stages of building a startup - how to shape an idea, validate whether there’s a real need, find the right team, and take the first steps toward turning an idea into a product and eventually a business.
He also introduced his startups - MediMind.md, which uses AI to improve healthcare service management, and FoxPrep.ai, which helps students prepare more effectively for exams.
The session was interactive, giving participants the chance to ask questions, get practical advice, and hear real insights from both his international career and startup experience.
