Startup Pre-Acceleration Program CUnicorn

The activities of the fifth Batch of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Startup Pre-acceleration Program CUnicorn, are actively ongoing.

 

The program aims to develop participants' entrepreneurial skills and innovative thinking, advance startup ideas, and transform them into real businesses. Participants gradually get acquainted with the core components of startup development and develop relevant competencies through practical exercises.

 

First and second weeks


At the initial stage of the program, the focus was on problem identification and idea generation, developing creative thinking, as well as methods for product positioning in the market and defining customer persona.

 

The sessions were led by Irakli Svanidze, the Acting Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, invited lecturer at Caucasus University, and mentor of the program.


During the second week, the participants were given insights by an invited speaker, Tornike Tsiramua, Co-Founder and CEO of Biliki App and Biliki AI, as well as a mentor at Google’s Startup Accelerator.

 

Third week


Participants learned customer discovery and validation strategies, the principles of conducting problem validation interviews, and techniques for analyzing problem-solution fit.


This session was led by Giorgi Chugoshvili, Co-Founder of Phubber App and Amadeo.


During the third session, participants met Irakli Chikava, Co-Founder and CEO of TelAgri, who discussed the importance of innovative solutions in the agrotechnology field, as well as shared his entrepreneurial experience and the challenges related to founding a startup.

 

Fourth week

 

The session was dedicated to introducing the fundamentals of market research and the key principles of branding.


The session was led by Mari Datishvili, Founder of Mygallery, Caucasus Business School graduate, lecturer, and program mentor.

 

Fifth week


Participants worked on key techniques for value proposition and prototyping.


This session was led by Iako Jikia, Co-Founder and CEO of Helio AI.

 

CUnicorn is a 10-week intensive program that combines thematic meetings, practical sessions, and individual mentoring. At the end of the program, participants will present their startup ideas at a Demo Day.
