On June 8, Caucasus University hosted a jubilee evening in its conference hall to mark the 70th anniversary of Mr. Temur Khutsishvili, Professor at the School of Tourism and Head of the Department of Mathematics. The event also included the presentation of his collection of plays, Eternal Fleeting Life, (Transience??), published by Intelekti Publishing.
The evening was opened by the President of Caucasus University, Kakha Shengelia, who spoke about Mr Khutsishvili’s 24 years of dedicated service and his significant contribution to the development of the university.
The event brought together Mr Khutsishvili’s family members, relatives, close friends and colleagues, who shared memories and reflected on his professional achievements, creative work and long-standing contribution to academic life. Special attention was given to his works on Tao-Klarjeti, as well as to the reform of CU’s mathematics curriculum, implemented with his active involvement.
The evening concluded in a festive atmosphere with a jubilee cake.
