The Vice President for Internationalization of Caucasus University, Irena Melua, and the Director of the International Relations Department, Ketevan Karbaia, participated in the Franco-Georgian Week organized by the University of Rennes. The aim of the event was to strengthen existing collaborations between Georgian and French higher education institutions and to create new joint opportunities.
Within the framework of the program, working meetings and visits were held with members of the Franco-Georgian consortium, including INSA Rennes and EHESP, which provided valuable opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experience in academic and scientific fields.
It is noteworthy that Caucasus University is the only private higher education institution that is a member of the Franco-Georgian University Consortium. Within the framework of this partnership, the university plans to initiate several strategically important programs.
As part of the visit to Rennes, the representatives of Caucasus University also visited the university’s strategic partner, Rennes School of Business. Together, the two institutions implement a three-year joint undergraduate program in Business Administration. In addition, they actively cooperate within the Erasmus+ program in the areas of student as well as academic and administrative staff exchange.
Caucasus University continues to support the process of internationalization and actively works on deepening cooperation with new higher education institutions.
