In partnership with Caucasus University and the International Association for Media Education, a webinar series titled “Media Literacy in Formal Education” was held on May 5, 12, and 19.

The webinars were led by members of the International Association for Media Education - Johannes Knierzinger, Nicoleta Fotiade, Flavia Țăran, and Irene Andriopoulou, who shared with Georgian participants their experiences from their respective countries as well as from across Europe more broadly.

The webinars were attended by Georgian school teachers, media literacy specialists, and representatives of higher education institutions. Recordings of the sessions were distributed to professional teachers’ associations in Georgia.
