Student Conference Held at Caucasus School of Technology

On May 22, the Caucasus School of Technology held a student research conference aimed at strengthening students’ academic and research skills and supporting their professional development. Students from various programs within the School presented papers on “How Artificial Intelligence Is Changing the Future of Cybersecurity,” offering diverse, well-researched, and practically relevant perspectives on the topic.

 

The winners of the conference were:

 

  1. First Place – Albert Paniani and Garri Manukov, students of the Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science
    Topic: AI Security and Its Use in Attacks. The paper explores the rapid development of artificial intelligence, which has transformed the technology sector and created new opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.
  2. Second Place – Anzor Bigvava, student of the English-language Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science, Topic: How AI Is Changing the Future of Cybersecurity. The paper examines how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of cybersecurity by analyzing both its offensive capabilities and defensive mechanisms. In particular, it investigates the extent to which AI-driven defensive tools enhance or replace human roles in cybersecurity operations.
  3. Third Place – Tengiz Iluridze and Zurab Tavartkiladze, students of the English-language Bachelor’s Program in Computer Science, Topic: The Influence of AI on Cybersecurity in German Higher Education from an Erasmus+ Perspective. The paper examines the role of artificial intelligence in transforming cybersecurity awareness and digital responsibility in universities.
