A public lecture titled “Starting a Business in Georgia: Legal Forms and Tax Regimes” was held at Caucasus University for students of the Caucasus School of Business.
The lecture was delivered by Salome Odisharia, Co-founder of Lino and tax expert.
During the session, participants discussed key legal, financial and tax-related issues to consider when starting a business. Particular attention was given to the specific features of different legal forms of business, the importance of selecting the most appropriate tax regime, and the preferential tax regimes available in Georgia and their practical application.
Through real-life examples and practical case studies, participants gained a clearer understanding of the importance of key decisions involved in starting and developing a business.
