ADMISSION

The admission requirements for the Master's Program in Education Leadership and Management are as follows:

 

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • The Unified Master's Exam
  • An internal university exam specific to the program at the Caucasus Education School, which includes an assessment of English comprehension and writing skills at the B2 level1
  • An interview with the admissions committee of the Caucasus School of Education2

 

1 An applicant may be exempt from this admissions requirement if they meet the following criteria: (a) they present a certificate demonstrating English proficiency at the B2 level (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, TOEIC, FCF (Grades A and B), CPE, etc. provided its validity is confirmed). If a transcript provided confirms English proficiency at the B2 level or if an applicant has completed a Bachelor's or Master's program taught in English they will be exempt from submitting an English language certificate as well as from taking the internal university exam.

 

2 After the document verification process, applicants will have an interview with the admissions committee at the Caucasus School of Education. The committee will evaluate candidates based on the following criteria:

 

  • Motivation to develop competencies in education policy analysis;
  • Analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and communication skills;
  • Reflection on undergraduate or other educational experiences;
  • Work experience in the field of education (preference will be given in case of equal qualifications).

 

When a student transfers to the program through mobility, the program director and the dean of the school will conduct a thorough evaluation, taking into account the previously outlined conditions. The decision will be made in accordance with the internal regulations of Caucasus University.

 

Documents To Be Sumbitted

 

  • The notarized copies of a diploma, a transcript, or a certificate indicating the date and order number of the degree conferral;
  • A copy of the ID document;
  • NAEC card;
  • 2 passport-sized photos (also recorded on a CD);
  • A copy of the military registration card (for male applicants);
  • CV / Resume;
  • Motivation letter (no less than 400 words and no more than 600 words);
  • A letter of recommendation;
  • An online registration form.

 

Application Deadlines

  • Deadline for completing online registration: September 2, 2026;
  • Deadline for submitting documents: September 4, 18:00, 2026;
  • English language exam (if applicable) / Exam for CU grant: September 8, 2026;
  • Interview with selected candidates: September 10, 2026.

 

Tuition Fee – 9,900 GEL. The tuition fee is paid per semester based on the number of credits taken.

 

CU Grant

 

Students have the opportunity to fund a study with a CU grant along with a state grant. The CU grant covers 50% of the total tuition fee.

 

There are two ways to qualify for the CU grant:

 

  1. If you are a graduate or will soon graduate from any university's undergraduate program and you have a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
  2. If you have scored 65% or more of the maximum possible score on the Unified Master’s Exams.

 

If you meet at least one of the above-mentioned criteria, you will have the opportunity to participate in the grant competition and secure funding.

Caucasus University offers 10% funding for CU graduates, whose GPA is lower than 3,5.
