The Bachelor's Educational Program in Public Administration comprises 180 ECTS credits, with 60 ECTS credits per year and 30 ECTS credits per semester. Accordingly, the standard duration of the Bachelor's program is 3 academic years. A semester comprises a set of teaching weeks, a period for conducting additional examinations, and a period for assessing students' performance in additional examinations. An academic year comprises a set of semesters and the break periods between them. One ECTS credit is equivalent to 25 hours, including both the student's contact hours and independent study hours. Students should take into consideration that they are not permitted to earn more than 75 ECTS credits during one academic year.

Upon completion of the standard duration of the Bachelor's Educational Program, a student with academic debts is entitled to continue their studies for additional semesters (no more than 4 semesters) for the purpose of completing the educational program, while retaining their student status.

The possible distribution of the 180 ECTS credits within the Bachelor's Educational Program is as follows:

Of the 180 ECTS credits of the Bachelor's Educational Program in Public Administration, 145 ECTS credits are allocated to courses corresponding to the content of the major field of study, including:

• 135 credits – compulsory courses;

• 10 credits – elective courses.

The remaining credits of the educational program are allocated to the free component, including 15 credits for compulsory university-wide courses and 20 credits for English Language. A total of 10 credits may be earned as free credits, as students are given the opportunity to select 10 ECTS credits from the field-specific elective module offered within the same program, from other Bachelor's programs at Caucasus University, or through the recognition of relevant credits earned while participating in a mobility or exchange program.
