On June 10, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences hosted the final meeting of its Translation Workshop. Led by CU Associate Professor Tamar Lomadze, the workshop brings together students from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.

During the meeting, participants discussed:

• the workshop’s activities;
• the authors translated by the workshop members;
• texts that were discussed and analysed alongside the translation process;
• meetings held with professional translators;
• the translation of stories by Tekla Kipshidze;
• the workshop’s future plans, covering both academic and practical activities;
• readings of excerpts from translations produced by the workshop members.

At the end of the meeting, the workshop members discussed future plans and outlined the key directions for their further activities.
