Qualification to be awarded: Master of Clinical Psychology

 

The aim of the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology is to prepare professionals with academic degree in clinical psychology meeting modern requirements in psychological consultancy and psychotherapy and in criminal and forensic psychology.

 

The program consists of two professional modules: Psychological consultancy and Psychological Therapy and Forensic and Criminal Psychology.

 

The program is innovative as it is the first attempt in Georgian University system to prepare masters of clinical psychology in criminal and forensic psychology.

 

Another essential component of the program is professional practice which students will take at a partner organization.

 

Master of Clinical Psychology can be employed at public and non-governmental organizations and agencies, such as: hospitals, out-patients, rehabilitation centers, schools, kindergartens, law courts, penitentiaries of different kinds and social service centers, etc.
