The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) was founded in Vienna in 1981. ELSA is the world’s largest independent, non-political, and non-profit association of law students. It is represented in 43 countries and has approximately 60,000 members across Europe.

ELSA cooperates with major international organizations, including the United Nations, UNESCO, and WIPO, providing its members with unique opportunities to attend sessions of leading international institutions and gain valuable practical experience.

In 2013, Caucasus University officially became a full member of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA).
