Through the initiative and efforts of Caucasus University Child Rights Center, Caucasus University has officially become a full member of the Children’s Rights European Academic Network (CREAN).
CREAN is one of the leading and most influential European academic platforms working in the field of children’s rights. Its mission is to promote research and education on children’s rights. In the process of legal policy development, CREAN actively cooperates with United Nations and European Union structures, the Council of Europe, and various international organizations working in the field of children’s rights.
CREAN brings together leading European universities, research centers, and academic institutions. Its activities include:
- implementing joint European research and educational projects focused on children’s rights;
- supporting master’s and doctoral programs and organizing international summer schools and conferences;
- facilitating the exchange of experience between academic circles and practitioners in order to promote the development of child-friendly justice systems.
The membership of the Caucasus University Child Rights Center in this prestigious network represents recognition of the diverse research, educational, and international activities carried out by the Center since 2023.
This international recognition marks another important step forward in the internationalization of the Caucasus School of Law and in strengthening standards for the protection of children’s rights. Partnership with CREAN will open new opportunities for the University’s students and academic staff to participate in joint scientific projects, grants, and international research initiatives at the European level.
