As part of the higher education system reform, the master's program has transitioned to a "1+1" model, which will be implemented starting from the 2026–2027 academic year.
The duration of the second part of the Master's program in Law is 1 academic year.
Degree awarded: Research Master’s in Law.
The second part of the Master's program in Law includes 60 ECTS credits of study.
Upon completion of the second 60-credit part of the program and obtaining the qualification of " Research Master’s in Law," the graduate can engage in independent academic and research activities, work in higher education and research institutions, research and analytical centers, international organizations and institutions working in the field of legal policy analysis and development, in addition to being employed in positions in the public, private, and international sectors where a Master's degree in Law is required and where no additional qualification or certification requirements are stipulated by Georgian legislation.
