On February 19, Caucasus University Academic Writing Center joined the International Day Against Plagiarism.
In order to raise awareness about academic integrity, the Center invited Giga Khositashvili, Deputy Director of Ilia State University Library.
Giga Khositashvili spoke about the importance of plagiarism prevention day and the steps taken to establish a culture of academic integrity in Georgia, including the achievements of the “INTEGRITY” project, as well as the internal mechanisms and policies of universities. The meeting was moderated by Tamar Chokora, Head of the Academic Writing Center at Caucasus University, and was conducted live on the Facebook page of the university.
A webinar was also organized by Tamar Chokoraia at the university on the occasion of International Day Against Plagiarism. The webinar was devoted to the use of the plagiarism prevention programs and issues of plagiarism prevention at the university.
