The history of Caucasus University dates back to 1998, with the establishment of Caucasus School of Business.

Qualification Requirements
For the position of Professor
A person holding a doctoral degree, or an academic degree equivalent thereto, in the relevant field may be elected to the position of Professor for a term of seven years, provided that they have at least six years of scientific and pedagogical experience.
For the position of Associate Professor
A person holding a doctoral degree, or an academic degree equivalent thereto, in the relevant field may be elected to the position of Associate Professor for a term of seven years, provided that they have at least three years of scientific and pedagogical experience.
For the position of Assistant Professor
A person holding a doctoral degree, or an academic degree equivalent thereto, in the relevant field may be elected to the position of Assistant Professor for a term of four years.
Additional requirement: Knowledge of English at no lower than B2 level is required in the case of teaching on English-language programmes.
A qualified person may also be elected to the position of Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor on the basis of professional qualifications. In such cases, the person’s qualification may be confirmed by professional experience, specialised training, and/or publications. A person shall be considered to have the relevant qualification if they possess the competencies necessary to achieve the learning outcomes defined by the programme.

Required Documents
Interested applicants must submit the following documents:
- CV in Georgian and English, including information on teaching and scientific activities;
- syllabus/syllabi of the relevant course(s) in Georgian;
- copy of an identity document;
- copies of documents confirming education, qualification, and academic degree/title, including documents confirming possession of a doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s, or equivalent academic degree;
- in the case of an academic degree obtained abroad, the documentation required for the verification of authenticity;
- certificate confirming scientific and pedagogical experience, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant position;
- full information on articles, books, monographs, and other scientific works, including the title of the work, place of publication, date of publication, number of pages, name of the publishing house, and copies of the outer covers of the works. For the purposes of the competition, data from the last five years are of particular importance;
- in the case of teaching on English-language programmes, an international certificate confirming English language proficiency. English language proficiency may be confirmed by a valid international certificate of English at B2 level and/or by a document confirming completion, within the last three years, of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree programme taught in English, or the applicant must be a citizen of a country where English is an official language.
Competition Stages
The competition will be conducted in three stages:
Stage I — Review and selection of submitted documents
Stage II — Presentation/interview
Stage III — Finalisation of the competition results

Competition venue: 1 Paata Saakadze Street, Tbilisi. In certain cases, depending on the specific nature of the competition, it may be conducted remotely
