The history of Caucasus University begins in 1998, with the creation of the Caucasus School of Business.

Caucasus University, Caucasus School of Technology (CST) announces a competition for the position of invited lecturer in the Georgian and English speaking sector in the following fields:

 

  • Electrical circuits (2 vacancies)
  • Microcontrollers (2 vacancies)
  • Telecommunications (2 vacancies)
  • Object Oriented Programming (2 vacancies)
  • Database systems (2 vacancies)
  • .NET technologies (2 vacancies)
  • Production of software products (2 vacancies)
  • Web technologies (2 vacancies)
  • Fundamentals of programming (2 vacancies)
  • Java programming language (2 vacancies)
  • Mobile application programming (2 vacancies)
  • Algorithms and data structures (2 vacancies)
  • User interfaces (2 vacancies)
  • Digital Marketing (2 vacancies)
  • Machine learning (1 vacancy)

 

Qualification requirements:

 

  • At least a master's degree or equivalent academic degree in the field of engineering/information and communication technologies;
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the relevant field of discipline;
  • Knowledge of the English language (at least B2 level);
  • Scientific-pedagogical work experience is desirable;
  • Experience of reading lecture courses in English is desirable.

  • Responsible;

Interested persons should submit:

 

  • CV in Georgian and English (CV – must include information about education, teaching and research, other professional experience)
  • A copy of ID;
  • Certificate confirming double vaccination against COVID-19;
  • Copies of documents confirming education (qualification and academic degree/rank) (documents confirming the possession of a PhD or an equivalent academic degree)
  • Necessary documentation for authenticity of thesis defense abroad;
  • Certificate of scientific-pedagogical activity and information about workloads in other higher education institutions during the last year;
  • Information about PhD/dissertation topic (topic title, field, direction);
  • Complete information about articles, books, monographs or other scientific works, which includes: the title of the work, the place of publication, the date, the number of pages and the name of the publisher, as well as copies of the outer cover of the work (for the purposes of the competition, the last 5 (five) years data is especially important);
  • Certificates, awards and other documents;

 

The competition will be held in three stages:

 

Stage I - Selection of submitted documents

Stage II - Presentation / Interview

Stage III - Summary of the competition.

 

Acceptance of documents: up to and including April 16, 2023

The period of the competition is April-May

Venue of the competition: Tbilisi City, Paata Saakadze #1.
