Mock Criminal Trial for University Applicants

26 April 2026

Caucasus University and Legis Academy invite applicants interested in the field of law to participate in a mock criminal trial project as part of the Spring 2026 season.

This initiative offers a unique opportunity to turn theoretical knowledge into practical experience and take part in a simulated criminal trial based on a high-profile case.

    • assume the roles of prosecutor, defense lawyer, witness, and juror;
    • work on the materials of a high-profile criminal case — the Giorgi Shakarashvili murder case;
    • explore the specific features of authentic investigative records;
    • with the guidance of mentors, learn how to develop a legal strategy, prepare witnesses effectively, and strengthen their practical skills in a focused and meaningful way.

Project schedule:

First week – 26 April
