Information Session for Applicants: Become a Psychologist

24 April 2026

On 24 April at 15:00, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of Caucasus University will host an information session for applicants interested in psychology in Auditorium D22.

The session will be led by Maia Machavariani Tsereteli, Associate Professor at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Head of the Georgian- and English-language Undergraduate Programs in Psychology, and neuropsychologist.

The meeting will be held in an interactive format.

Psychology is not merely a profession; it is both the art and the science of understanding human nature.

During the session, participants will learn:

  • why people think, feel, and behave differently;
    • how the brain works and how it influences behavior;
    • “Myths vs Reality” — what psychologists actually do;
    • what it means to step into the role of a psychologist;
    • how psychology is taught at university;
    • what career opportunities the field of psychology offers.
