Public Lecture on the topic - Discover, Explore, Act: The Importance of Research in Various Fields

On May 5, at 13:30, a public lecture on the topic - "Discover, Explore, Act: The Importance of Research in Various Fields" will be held at the Caucasus University Library.

 

The lecture will be led by:

 

  • Ani Lortkipanidze - Visiting Lecturer at Caucasus University. National Representative of WAPOR from Georgia. Vice President of Gallup International Association. Research Director at Tri Media Intelligence;
  • Mzia Silagadze - Director of Tri Media Intelligence;
  • Rati Shubladze - Doctor of Sociology. Head of the Sociology Program at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA);
  • Erekle Antadze - Visiting Lecturer at the Free University. Senior Project Manager at GORBI;
  • Nata Nakaidze - Researcher at the Eliava Phage Therapy Center. Visiting Lecturer in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Tbilisi State Medical University. Resident Physician at the Prof. Zhordania and Prof. Khomasuridze Institute of Reproductology, Reproductive Medicine Specialist.

 

The meeting will discuss the importance of research in various fields — from medicine to marketing, from sociology to other disciplines.

 

Professionals from various fields will also share their experiences and speak about how research is changing not only the academic space, but also our daily lives. We will also introduce you to the organization WAPOR (World Association for Public Opinion Research) and its partnership with Caucasus University.
