Competition "Python and Cybersecurity Battle"

Transylvania University of Brasov, with the support of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, together with the Caucasus University and the Scientific Cybersecurity Association, is running an online Python and Cybersecurity competition called "Python and Cybersecurity Battle". Schoolchildren and students from any country can participate in the competition.

 

Participants should create teams of 2-3 students who will present their ideas, projects, software systems.

 

The following can participate in the competition:

 

  • Schoolchildren belonging to the age group of 14-19 years. They should form groups of 2-3 students and present their projects during the competition.
  • University students (Bachelor's or Master's program), they should form groups of 2-3 students and present their projects during the competition.

Each group should make a 10 – 15 minute presentation about their project, which will be registered in both categories - Python battle and Cyber ​​Battle. The competition will be held on December 10, 2022.

 

Projects will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

 

  • Newness, relevance and perspective of the proposed idea
  • Real-world relevance, meaning a realistic assessment of the problem or scope and importance of a real-world use case
  • Overall quality of the project, which refers to the relevance of the idea, the design of the software solution and the quality of the implementation
  • The quality of the presentation, which takes into account the detailed presentation of the idea, the justification of the choice with its real-world relevance, the clear and concise presentation of the system architecture and its implemented prototype

 

Certificates will be awarded to the winners of the competition, who will take the first, second and third place.
