Quiz Game for Prospective Students: “The Accused and Their Rights in the Criminal Justice Process”

On March 29 at 10:00, the Caucasus University courtroom will host a quiz game on “The Accused and Their Rights in the Criminal Justice Process” for 11th and 12th-grade students.

 

As part of the activity, through their own active participation, the prospective students will receive information about the accused and their basic rights in the criminal justice process.

 

The final part will be devoted to a quiz, where the participants will be offered various fun tasks to determine the winning team.

 

The following will be discussed during the event:

 

  • Who is the accused;
  • The accused and the adversarial criminal justice process;
  • The rights of the accused during an investigation (when imposing a preventive action);
  • The right of the accused to participate in the substantive consideration of their case;
  • The right of the accused (convicted) to appeal the verdict.

 

Duration of the event - 3 hours; Training - 2 hours; Quiz - 1 hour;

The quiz will be led by Irine Bokhashvili, Associate Professor of the Caucasus School of Law.

All participants will receive certificates of participation.
