Public lecture - Love Lessons from Ancient Greece

7 June 2023

Love is a Georgian word and is translated into at least 8 different words in ancient Greek.

  •  What is the adventure of these words in ancient Greece and the modern world?
  •  Who are the gods of love?
  •  What does Greek mythology, poetry and philosophy tell us about love?
  •  What do lovers learn and fail to learn from the ancient Greeks?

In order to find answers to these questions, on June 7, at 14:00, Caucasus University invites you to the public lecture of the Hellenist and translator Tatia Mtvarelidze in the CU library. Lecture will be held at conference hall of CU.
