A public lecture on breast cancer, organized by the Medical Club, will be held on May 21 at 11:00 in the Caucasus University Conference Hall.

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Tornike Gakhokidze — mammologist, endocrinologist, skin and soft tissue surgeon, and oncologist. He is a guest lecturer at Caucasus University, Georgian University, and Black Sea University, as well as Georgia's national representative at the EYSACESSO Young Surgeons and Alumni Club.

The following issues will be discussed at the lecture:

• What is breast cancer and how does it develop?
• What factors can contribute to the development of breast cancer?
• How is breast cancer diagnosed?
• What symptoms can accompany breast cancer?
• What are the stages of breast cancer, and why is the stage important in determining the treatment method?
