Training series for raising cybersecurity awareness

With the support of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

 

The Cybersecurity Center of Caucasus University, in partnership with the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA), is organizing a series of thematic open training sessions in October as part of the EU-funded SECURE project, implemented by the Center.

 

  • October 2 | 15:00 “Conversations on Cybersecurity”

Speaker: Vladimir Svanadze, Professor at Caucasus University and Vice President of SCSA.

  • October 5 | 15:00 “Personal Data Protection in the Modern Corporate Environment”

Speaker: Ketevan Grdzelidze, Data Protection Officer and Cybersecurity Specialist.

  • October 15 | 11:00 “Active Directory and Security: Ways of Compromising Domain Networks”

Speaker: Sergo Simonov, OffSec Authorized Instructor, SCSA Technical Director, and Head of the Penetration Testing Department.

  • October 24 | 15:00 “Applied Post-Quantum Cryptography (Working with a Quantum Laboratory)”

Speaker: Maxim Iavich, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Director of the Cybersecurity Center, President of SCSA, and Professor.

  • October 30 | 15:00 “Raising Awareness: The Illusion of Security and the Human Factor”

Speaker: Giorgi Akhalaia, Associate Professor at Caucasus University.

 

All training sessions will be held at the Caucasus University Quantum Laboratory, Room A4.
