On March 27 at 12:00, a workshop titled “The Art of Heart Visualization” will be held in the conference hall of Caucasus University for students of Caucasus University.

 

The workshop will be conducted by Giorgi Choladze, MD, PhD - a cardiologist and echocardiography specialist; a Silver Member of the European Society of Cardiology in the fields of heart rhythm and cardio-oncology; Head of the Cardiology Department at Neolab Clinic; and a cardiologist in the Intensive Care Unit of the Tbilisi Heart Center.

 

As part of the theoretical component of the training, students will be introduced to the fundamental principles of echocardiography, including what can be visualized through echocardiographic imaging and how to correctly obtain and assess the standard cardiac echocardiographic views.

 

Following the theoretical session, a practical session will be conducted using a simulated patient. Initially, the instructor will demonstrate the four primary echocardiographic windows and the proper techniques for acquiring them.

Subsequently, students will independently perform practical exercises on the simulated patient, enabling them to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and develop essential practical skills.
