Purpose of the Competition
The primary objective of this competition is to select a student representative to serve on the School Council, in full compliance with the eligibility criteria and qualifications established for prospective candidates.
Vacant Position
Member of the School Council with the status of Student.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates will be assessed on the basis of their academic performance, discipline, the extent and impact of their engagement in school and university activities and events, as well as their personal and leadership qualities.
Applicants must hold active student status at Caucasus School of Technology.
The student selected through this competition will become a full voting member of the School Council. The term of office is set at one (1) academic year, except in the following circumstances:
- The student’s status at Caucasus University is suspended or terminated prior to the completion of the term;
- The student becomes unable to fulfil their responsibilities for unforeseen reasons.
In such cases, the School reserves the right to conduct a new selection process and appoint a replacement student in accordance with the conditions and procedures established by internal normative regulations.
School Council
The School Council is established as a core governance body within the University’s primary educational and structural framework. It is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the School’s educational and scientific-research activities.
The Council reviews the School’s academic programs; considers annual reports on the School’s activities at the end of each academic year; develops recommendations for the further enhancement of educational programs and teaching methodology; and carries out other functions as required.
The composition of the School Council includes: the Dean of the School; the Administrative Director of the Bachelor’s/Master’s Educational Program; the Program Head; the Head of the Scientific-Technical Center for Innovative Technologies; the Head of a Division within the Scientific-Technical Center for Innovative Technologies; members of the academic staff of the School (in accordance with defined criteria); and one student representative.
The participation of Council members in meetings is determined according to the relevance of the issues under discussion.
Application Procedure
Students wishing to apply for the vacant position must submit the following documents:
- A motivation letter;
- A list specifying their participation in school and/or university activities and conferences, including the titles and dates of these events.

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 October.
