On September 13th a public lecture was held in Caucasus University titled "2025-26 Trends for Entrepreneurs, Innovators, and Investors“.
The lecture was delivered by Bret Waters, founder and former CEO of three Silicon Valley software companies. Now he teaches entrepreneurship at Stanford University and is an active angel investor.
The lecture covered the following topics: What are the trends that startup founders and investors should be thinking about, all over the world? In this view-from-Silicon-Valley talk, Bret discussed what he saw as the key trends. This was not a list of technology trends, per se - it was a list of global trends across several dimensions, including sources and structures of capital, organizational structures, and marketplace trends.
